Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Putting Your Cards On The Table ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use the App. It works together with our Terms of Service.

• Account info — when you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Content you create — card messages, signatures and recipient names you type, photos you upload, and voice notes you record.
• Scheduling details — delivery times, chosen channels, and (for text delivery) the phone number you enter for your recipient.
• Payment info — purchases are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and plan type; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage & device info — basic analytics such as cards sent, shares by channel, app installs, and link-open counts, used to operate and improve the App.

• To create, store, and deliver your cards.
• To run scheduled sends and show you when a card link has been opened.
• To process purchases and manage Premium access.
• To improve the App and understand which features are used.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your card messages, photos, or voice notes for advertising.

A card is viewable by anyone who has its link — that is how recipients without accounts can open it. Share links use long random codes that cannot be guessed, but treat a card link like the message itself: only share it with people you want to see it.

We use trusted providers to run the App: Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), cloud hosting and object storage for photos and voice notes, and — if enabled — messaging providers (such as Twilio or Resend) to deliver scheduled texts or emails. Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its service.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage on your device for preferences (such as your saved signature, install id, and one-time hints). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We keep your content while your account is active or while a shared card needs to remain viewable. You can delete photo cards from within the App. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below and we will act on your request within 30 days.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and mature decks are strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the data.

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
